The Taskbar currently offers H2 Chemistry, H2 Economics, H2 Mathematics and H1 General Paper for JC Students and HL Economics, HL Mathematics and HL Chemistry for IB Students.

Currently, all classes at The Taskbar are conducted online over the communication platform, Discord.

The Taskbar makes use of high quality equipment, software and interactive tools to deliver online lessons at the highest definitions and engagement levels using our in-house studio. Online lessons at The Taskbar have minimal lags and graininess, giving students an unparalleled online learning experience that is seamless and immersive. The Taskbar conducts 2-hour classes in small groups (Up to 6 students). Each small group, also known as "Functional Groups", consist of students with complementary learning styles and needs, carefully put together in the same class to enhance the group learning experience, creating a healthy and supportive environment. Each 2-hour class would usually include theory explanation, application time and break out sessions where each student gets 1-1 attention to further clarify any doubts they still have and for teachers to ensure that they are on track.

Each tutor excels not only academically in their respective subjects but also brings a deep passion for the field. For instance, our Science tutors include accomplished professionals such as doctors, while Economics majors teach Economics courses. Our rigorous selection process and comprehensive training program ensure that our tutors not only possess extensive knowledge but also have the ability to inspire and effectively impart that knowledge to our students. We believe in nurturing a learning environment where expertise meets enthusiasm, creating a holistic educational experience for every student.

Tutors are trained to actively engage students throughout the two-hour session to ensure they are focused and attentive. Additionally, students are strongly encouraged to keep their cameras on for the duration of the lesson, allowing tutors to better monitor their engagement. Tutors are coached to be outgoing and energetic to capture students' attention during the 2-hour lessons.

The Taskbar places heavy emphasis on student welfare and support. Regular check-in calls are done to ensure that students are on track to meet their goals and expectations. Support packages that include notes, study essentials and other goodies are also sent via mail to our students regularly to give them support and encouragement. During examination periods, The Taskbar also hold special classes and seminars to render additional assistance to students.

The Taskbar has administrative staff dedicated to assisting students with technical issues. Additionally, lessons are recorded, ensuring that students have access to a recording to review should the problems persist doing that lesson. Students will have 15 minutes in their next lesson to address any questions they couldn't ask due to technical problems.

After signing up, you will be added into our class Telegram group where lesson materials and links will be shared when class begins. All you need is a computer, internet connection, a microphone and a webcam to join our class! Downloading the Discord App on your computer is optional but very useful as well.

Fees are charged on either a monthly or termly (Cheaper) basis. Acceptable payment methods include bank transfer and PayNow via our UEN.
